Effective treatment from the comfort of home

Online Therapy for Eating Disorders in South Burlington, VT.

Serving all of MA, RI, and VT

Are you struggling to find a therapist in your area?

Maybe you’ve checked all your local listings, therapist directories, and google and can’t find a good fit. Or maybe there aren’t any therapists near you that specialize in eating disorders. Maybe you can’t find anyone within a reasonable distance, or that has availability that works with your schedule.

Whatever it is, you need help and you can’t find it.

I’m Elizabeth, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Vermont, and can serve residents through the entire state with virtual therapy!

Online therapy offers you the ability to receive therapy from a specialist, even if there aren’t any in your area. In addition, you can avoid commuting back and forth from an office and have flexibility where you receive therapy (as long as you are in the state of Vermont).

How It Works:

  1. Click here to schedule your free consultation

  2. We’ll have a fifteen minute call to ensure that I am the best fit for your needs

  3. I’ll send you all the forms you need to complete through a secure HIPPA compliant platform

  4. Before your session, you’ll receive an email with the link to your virtual therapy room

  5. You’ll start getting the help you need

Residents of Massachusetts shouldn’t have to struggle to receive the help they need just because they can’t find a provider. Reach out today!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The main difference between online therapy and in person therapy is that we won’t be in a room together. Research has indicated that online therapy is just as effective as in person therapy provided you have a good relationship with your therapist. Through technology, I’ve adapted nearly every intervention I have done in person to an online platform.

  • In order for online therapy to be effective you will need a safe, secure, private location and a strong internet connection. For example an office or room in your home. I have had clients successfully use their parked car, however you must ensure the connection is strong enough for two way video streaming. I suggest testing the connection by video calling a friend.

  • Eating disorder treatment requires a team approach. I have connected with several providers in Vermont so I have a network of other clinicians to refer my clients to in order to ensure they receive comprehensive care.

  • I will support any clients in accessing an intensive outpatient, partial, or an inpatient/residential program. There are many programs now that allow clients to receive intensive outpatient and partial care virtually as well. Every client has unique needs, and I will support you in determining the best plan of care for you.

  • You will need a laptop, phone, or tablet, and yourself! Many clients also bring a journal and pen. However, this is not necessary and is a personal preference.
