You know exactly what you need and what you’re looking for

Are you already meeting with another therapist and looking for someone with eating disorder expertise? Are you returning to therapy and interested in maintenance sessions? Or perhaps you only have a few goals to work on and feel therapy will only benefit you for a short time?

Short-term therapy may be right for you!

Together we will work on a treatment plan designed to meet your goals. I will coordinate care with your other providers and ensure you are receiving the quality care you need to take the next step in your recovery. We will meet either weekly or bi-weekly for up to twelve sessions that focus on the work you need to do.

  • Short-term therapy focuses on meeting one or two goals and often supplements work done with other providers like another therapist or a registered dietician. Many of my clients come to me to receive care from an eating disorder specialist. Others need maintenance sessions or only need help with a few targeted issues.

  • We can decide the best service for you in your consultation. However, clients often choose short-term therapy when they have a clear idea of what they need to work on and feel well supported by other providers or a close network of friends and family.

  • My fees for short-term therapy are $160 for an initial intake session, $140 for subsequent one-hour sessions, and $120 for 45 minute sessions.

  • Twelve sessions is my usual recommendation for short-term therapy, however some clients meet for fewer. These can be spread either weekly or bi-weekly.

  • We will decide together what the next step is. However, continuing for long-term therapy is always an option.
